Menderes Ortaokulu is a secondary school. It was established in 1999. It is located in Esenler - a region where the middle class lives economically. It is migrating from various provinces of Turkey. As a result, there are students from different backgrounds in our school. Also There are special education students, inclusive students and migrant students in our institution. Orientation programs are offered for our students from Syria. In order to reduce school dropout, cooperation is made with the authorities as well as regional secondary schools. My friends in my group are highly communicative, self-developed, socially and environmentally conscious. Because our teachers conduct training with students from different countries and races, they create a good community consciousness and raise good values for citizens. At present there are 92 teachers and 2500 students. The school includes two study courses. First one is Foreign Language Teaching Program. We have portfolio programs for our language classes. The other is General Teaching Program. Our school has a great communication and collaboration with secondary schools of the area in order to develop new teaching methods, increase motivation and success. Our school is the most successful secondary school in Esenler. With innovative and contemporary education programs, it meets today's needs and leads regional schools. cooperation is believed for a better future. In this context, cooperation is made not only with regional schools, but also with European Union countries. Our school provides full support to these projects. The aim of our school is to explore new teaching techniques and apply modern educational programs. All of the classrooms are equipped with wi-fi, smart boards. There are IT labs, science labs and gym. We aim to make students benefit from all the opportunities offered by the education, to gain European Union awareness and to bring them to the abilities required by the age, and to improve them both socially and culturally. We want to make sure that our students get to better levels both academic and psychological. He is motivated to work in EU projects. He uses web tools and interactive methods in teaching English. Ebru Kılıç has been teaching Technology and Design for 12 years. She was trained in coding programs like Ardunio and Makeblock. She is eager to develop herself and her students about Web 2.0 internet tools.
